Meet The Team
Ryan Heffel
Director of Farm Shield
Ryan brings more than a decade of experience in the Farm Credit System to his role as Director of Farm Shield, where he has provided leadership since the agency’s inception. Over the past three years, he has served as Crop Insurance Agent and Sales Manager, playing a pivotal role in building the agency from the ground up. In his new position, Heffel will continue advancing Farm Shield’s mission by enhancing services, expanding its reach, and ensuring farmers receive the personalized support that has become the organization’s hallmark. A graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering and Technology Business, Heffel has over 10 years of experience in the crop insurance industry.
